How to Find Eggs Faster in Ride A Pet

Ride A Pet Walkthrough format Published 2026-09-28

Finding eggs is the main thing you do in Ride A Pet, but running around the map without a plan can waste a lot of time. A faster pet helps, but it is not enough by itself. You also need to know which eggs you are looking for, use the right radar, and take a short route back to your plot.

Here is a simple way to make your egg runs faster.

Start With the Right Pet

Your pet is also your main way of moving around the map.

A faster pet lets you reach eggs sooner and makes it easier to travel between different areas. This becomes especially important when you start looking for rare eggs that can appear far away from your plot.

For early progress, do not worry too much about owning a perfect pet. Your goal should be to replace slow pets as you hatch better ones.

When you get a faster pet, use it as your mount and keep your better earning pets on your plot if that gives you more income.

The basic progression is simple:

Better pet → faster movement → more egg attempts → better pets.

That is why speed matters so much in Ride A Pet.

Use Track Before You Start Searching

The Track system can help you find the egg you want instead of searching the entire map at random.

If you are looking for a specific type of egg, check Track first. It can tell you what is worth hunting for, while a radar can help you locate an egg from the correct rarity tier.

Do not immediately run to a random landmark just because you remember an egg spawning there before. Egg locations are search areas, not guaranteed permanent spawns.

This is especially important for rare eggs.

Buy a Radar for the Eggs You Actually Want

Radars are one of the most useful tools for egg hunting.

The current cash radar progression includes:

  • Advanced Radar — Rare
  • Jewel Radar — Epic
  • Royal Radar — Legendary
  • Magic Radar — Mythic
  • Angelic Radar — Divine
  • Eternal Radar — Ethereal

The reported prices range from $50 for Advanced Radar to millions of cash for the higher tiers. The shop can also have limited stock, so check the current Gear Shop instead of relying on an old screenshot.

The important part is not buying the most expensive radar as soon as possible.

Buy the radar that matches the eggs you are currently trying to find.

If you are still working on Rare or Epic eggs, spending huge amounts on an end-game radar does not automatically make your progression faster.

Learn a Short Route

Once you know the areas where your target egg can appear, stop checking the whole map randomly.

Make a route.

For example, when hunting rare Ethereal eggs, players commonly check landmarks such as the Giant Tree, the waterfall cave, the cliffs around the cave, the Forest-Desert border, the Pyramid, and the desert maze. Solaris has also been reported around the grey mountain area.

The exact spawn point can vary, so think of these as search zones rather than guaranteed locations.

A good route should also make the trip back to your plot easy.

There is no point finding an egg quickly if you then spend most of your time getting home.

Keep Your Return Route in Mind

When you find an egg, your job is not finished.

You still need to bring it back and hatch it.

Before chasing a rare egg into an unfamiliar area, learn how to leave that area. This matters around caves, the desert maze, and other places where movement can be slower.

If you already know the way back, you can react faster when a rare egg appears.

Do Not Waste Time Chasing Every Egg

Not every egg is worth stopping for.

If your current goal is to get a better pet, focus on eggs that can actually improve your progression. Running across the entire map for an egg that is only slightly better than what you already have can slow you down.

A useful rule is:

Hunt for upgrades, not just for activity.

If a better egg appears nearby, take it. If the egg is far away and your current pet is already good enough for the next stage, you may get more value from continuing your normal route.

The Fastest Players Are Not Just Riding Fast

Speed helps, but efficient players also know where to go.

The best egg runs usually combine:

  1. A fast mount
  2. The correct radar
  3. A known search route
  4. A clear target egg
  5. A quick route back to the plot

Once you have these five things working together, egg hunting becomes much less random.

Quick Egg-Hunting Checklist

Before leaving your plot, ask:

  • Which egg am I looking for?
  • Do I have the right radar?
  • Which areas can it appear in?
  • Which pet gives me enough speed?
  • Do I know the fastest way back?

If you can answer all five, you are ready to hunt.

The main idea is simple: do not search harder; search with a plan.
