Rebirth in Ride A Pet is not something you should rush just because the button is available.
A Rebirth resets part of your current progress, but gives you permanent progression that can make future runs faster.
For the first Rebirth, current guides report a requirement of $1 million cash and a Horse in your pet collection. The first Rebirth also gives a permanent income multiplier and other progression benefits.
So when should you actually do it?
What Do You Need for Rebirth?
For the first Rebirth, you need:
- $1,000,000 cash
- A Horse
The Rebirth panel shows your progress toward the cash requirement and the required pet.
If you have the money but do not have the Horse, you are not ready yet.
If you have the Horse but are still far from $1 million, keep working on your normal progression.
There is also a Robux option to skip requirements, but you do not need to use it to understand the normal Rebirth system.
What Happens When You Rebirth?
The important thing to understand is that Rebirth is a reset with a permanent benefit.
Your current cash and some temporary progress are reset, but the Rebirth reward improves your future progression.
The first Rebirth is reported to increase the income multiplier from 1x to 2x. It also unlocks the Gold Base ranch upgrade and gives an additional pet slot.
That means you should not look at Rebirth as simply losing your money.
You are trading short-term progress for a stronger account.
When Should You Rebirth?
The best time is when you can recover from the reset without getting stuck.
For example, if you have $1 million and the required Horse, but your entire setup depends on expensive pets and you have no easy way to rebuild, rebirthing immediately may feel painful.
On the other hand, if you already understand the early-game route and can quickly get back to useful pets and radar upgrades, the permanent multiplier becomes much more valuable.
Think about your recovery time.
Ask yourself:
“How quickly can I become productive again after the reset?”
If the answer is “pretty quickly,” Rebirth makes more sense.
Keep Your Recovery Pet Ready
Before rebirthing, make sure you understand which pets you can use after the reset.
You do not want to press Rebirth and then realize that your fastest mount was part of the progress you just lost.
The Horse requirement also means you should make sure the required pet is properly registered in your collection before rebirthing.
Rebirth Changes How You Earn
The permanent income multiplier is the biggest reason to rebirth.
After the reset, activities that generate income can become more valuable because you are working with a stronger multiplier.
That means the second climb does not need to be identical to the first.
You should use what you learned during your first run:
- Get a usable pet quickly.
- Focus on speed.
- Grab useful eggs.
- Upgrade radar when it becomes worthwhile.
- Avoid unnecessary spending.
- Rebuild toward stronger pets.
The goal is to recover faster than you did the first time.
Should You Wait After Reaching $1 Million?
Not necessarily.
Having $1 million does not mean you must wait for several more millions just because you can.
If you have the Horse and can recover easily, holding the extra cash may give you less long-term value than taking the permanent Rebirth benefit.
But if you are using the money to make a major upgrade that will dramatically improve your next run, waiting can also be reasonable.
There is no single timer that tells every player when to Rebirth.
Your current pets, speed, radar, and ability to rebuild all matter.
A Simple Rebirth Checklist
Before pressing Rebirth, check:
- Do I have the required cash?
- Do I have the required Horse?
- Do I understand what will reset?
- Do I have a plan for my first few minutes after Rebirth?
- Can I quickly get another useful mount?
- Can I start earning again without a long grind?
If most answers are yes, you are probably prepared for the reset.
What About Later Rebirths?
Ride A Pet has multiple Rebirth stages, and the requirements change as you progress.
Do not assume that the first Rebirth requirement will apply to every later stage.
For later Rebirths, check the current in-game Rebirth panel before grinding toward a specific requirement. The game is still receiving updates, so old requirement lists can become outdated.
The main idea stays the same:
Rebirth when the permanent benefit is worth more to your progression than the progress you are about to reset.
Once you can recover quickly, Rebirth becomes part of normal progression rather than something to be afraid of.
