Rare eggs in Ride A Pet are not something you should search for by running randomly around the map. Most of the useful information is about knowing the right landmarks and checking them quickly when an egg appears.
The rarest eggs currently getting the most attention include the Blackhole Egg, Cherub Egg, and Solaris Egg. Blackhole and Cherub share the same main search areas, while Solaris has also been reported in several of those areas plus the grey mountain.
Here are the areas worth learning.
Giant Tree
The Giant Tree is one of the most important places to check.
Look around the upper part of the tree, including the small room and the branches.
Getting there can take longer if your pet has poor movement or jumping ability, so learning the route before a rare egg appears is useful.
If you are hunting Blackhole or Cherub, make the Giant Tree one of your first checks.
Waterfall Cave
Another important area is the cave behind the waterfall.
You can reach it by following the river toward the waterfall. The cave is hidden behind the falling water, so a player who has never been there can easily miss it.
Once inside, check the available platforms and corners rather than assuming the egg will always appear in exactly the same spot.
Several current guides list the waterfall cave as a shared search area for Blackhole and Cherub eggs.
Cliffs Outside the Cave
Do not stop searching when you leave the cave.
There are reported egg search spots on the cliffs around the cave's outer opening. Check both sides around the area before moving on.
This is a good example of why memorizing only one screenshot is not enough. You need to learn the landmark and surrounding area.
The Forest-Desert Border
Another reported area is the cliff between the Forest and Desert.
Look around the higher ground near the edge of the two areas.
This spot can be easy to skip if you are following a route through the main parts of the map, so add it to your rare-egg route.
Desert Pyramid
The Pyramid is another important landmark.
Check inside the Pyramid when hunting the rare eggs that use the shared search areas.
Do not assume that seeing an empty Pyramid means the egg is not active. The important thing is to check the current Track information and move through the known search route quickly.
Desert Maze
The hidden maze near the Pyramid is another area worth learning.
The entrance can be easy to overlook, and moving through the maze is slower than simply crossing the open desert.
That makes it especially important to know the entrance before you start a rare-egg hunt.
Where to Look for Solaris
Solaris is an Ethereal egg added with the Mutations update.
Current guides report Solaris in several of the same general areas used by Blackhole and Cherub, including the Giant Tree, waterfall cave, and desert areas. An additional reported location is the base of the grey mountain behind the waterfall.
Because this information can change with updates, use these as the places to check rather than treating one location as a guaranteed Solaris spawn.
What to Do When a Rare Egg Appears
When the game announces a rare egg, do not stop to decide where to go.
You should already know your route.
A good order is:
Nearest known area → next landmark → next landmark → return route
Your goal is to reduce travel time.
If another player reaches the egg first, the run is lost. That is why knowing the map can matter just as much as having a strong pet.
Use Track and Radar Together
Track and Radar serve different purposes.
Track helps you identify what you should be looking for.
Radar helps you search for an egg from the relevant rarity tier.
Using both is more efficient than relying on memory alone.
Also remember that a landmark is not a permanent egg spawn. A location guide tells you where to check, not that an egg will always be waiting there.
Rare Egg Route to Learn
For Blackhole and Cherub, start by learning:
Giant Tree → Waterfall Cave → Cave Cliffs → Forest/Desert Cliff → Pyramid → Desert Maze
For Solaris, add the grey mountain area to your route.
Once you know these landmarks, rare egg hunting becomes much less stressful.
The biggest advantage is not knowing one secret spawn point. It is being able to check the important areas quickly before another player gets there.
