πŸ† S-Tier (Must-Have Meta Units)

These are the best units in the game right now. If you get them, upgrade them immediately!

  • Megumi (Secret): The undisputed king of the meta! His summons (like Maharaga) do insane damage. Even though he only has a 0.1% drop rate, he is super OP. Pair him with magical support units to maximize his output!
  • Berserker / Kempachi: The best Physical Leader in the game! He has full-screen AoE (Area of Effect) attacks and massive raw damage. If you are running a Physical team, he is your main carry.
  • Puppet (Gofer): An amazing all-rounder! He can slow down enemies, apply a "Rewind" effect to push back mobs, and make enemies take extra damage with his Puppet Mark.
  • Toy Maker: An absolute beast for Expedition Mode! If you roll the Unbound trait on her, her summons get crazy HP and can solo clear early waves easily.

βš”οΈ A-Tier (Super Strong Picks)

  • Yuta: A fantastic Physical DPS. His best feature? He can copy Berserker's attacks! Pairing Yuta with Berserker creates one of the highest damage combos in the game.
  • Elf Mage: Great full-AoE magical DPS. Super easy to use and one of the best carries for beginners to clear early game content.
  • True Saint (Hinata): Very cool mechanic! She steals 20% attack damage from the top 3 DPS units near her to boost herself.

πŸ›‘οΈ Support Tier (Buffers & Control)

Do NOT ignore supports! You can't beat harder modes with just DPS units.

  • Forbidden Teacher (Gojo): Essential buffer for Magical Teams.
  • The Hero: Essential buffer for Physical Teams.
  • Salmon Sorcerer: The ultimate utility unit! Gives Freeze, Slow, and Rewind. If you see him at a checkpoint in Expedition Mode, hire him instantly!
  • Don Flamingo & Rukia: Both are great for Stun control. Rukia offers pure crowd control, while Flamingo adds a bit of extra damage.

🌾 Farm Tier (Best Money Makers)

  • Ramen Guy: The #1 Money Farmer in the game right now. Gives way more Yen than basic farmers.
  • Senku: Cheap and reliable secondary farm choice.

πŸ’‘ Best Core Team Build for Beginners

If you are new, don't just throw random units together. Follow this simple team formula:

  1. 2 Farms: Ramen Guy + Senku (Get your money fast!)
  2. 1 Buffer: The Hero (for Physical) OR Forbidden Teacher (for Magical)
  3. 1 Stun/Control: Salmon Sorcerer or Ice Mage / Rukia
  4. 2 Main DPS: Megumi (Magical) OR Berserker + Yuta (Physical)

FAQ

Q1: Is the Expedition Mode worth playing? What do I get from it?

A: Absolutely YES! Expedition Mode is currently one of the most profitable modes in the game. By playing it and upgrading your Expedition Lobby, you can unlock:

  • The Gold Mine: Produces hundreds of thousands of Yen passively (say goodbye to being broke!).
  • The Armory: Allows you to forge and reroll high-tier Equipment (like the Magic Book or Three Swords From Hell).
  • The Resource Drill: Gives you free Geodes that drop Stat Locks and Reroll Scrolls!

Q2: Why are my unit Traits missing when I start an Expedition?

A: Don't panic! Expedition Mode temporarily disables your normal unit Traits to balance the gameplay. Instead, you can buy unique traits (like Unbound or Primordial) at the Checkpoint Shops during your run using Yen.

Q3: What is the fastest way to farm Cursed Timber and Lush Dirt?

A: Use the "Map Reset Strategy"!

  1. Enter the Expedition and open the route map.
  2. Check the total resource nodes available on the paths.
  3. If the total is below 30–35, leave and restart immediately.
  4. Only play routes that give 35–40+ resources. Clear the first boss, collect your materials, and hit Extract! Do not waste time grinding super long runs when farming.

Q4: Should I build a Physical Team or a Magical Team?

A: It depends on your Main DPS:

  • If you have Megumi / Elf Mage: Build a Magical Team. Bring Forbidden Teacher (Gojo) as your buffer and equip them with Magic Books.
  • If you have Berserker (Kempachi) / Yuta: Build a Physical Team. Bring The Hero as your buffer, pair Yuta with Berserker (so Yuta can copy his attacks), and equip them with Three Swords From Hell.
