Adopt Me has a new place to visit. The Cat Cafe is now open on Adoption Island, bringing new cat pets, a new item for getting them, and another pet that you can find through the Releaser Stand.
The update went live on September 18, 2026, so if you have not checked Adoption Island recently, there are a few new things worth looking for.
The Cat Cafe is now open
The main part of this update is the new Cat Cafe.
It is a new hangout spot where players can spend time around cats and use the new Kitty Biscuit to get one of the Cat Cafe pets. The cafe is also another place to visit if you want to see what has changed around Adoption Island.
The important item here is the Kitty Biscuit.
A Kitty Biscuit costs 75 Robux. When you use one, hungry cats can swarm around you, giving you a chance to get one of the three new pets.
The three pets available from the Kitty Biscuit are:
- Cattuccino - Rare - 87.5%
- Catte - Ultra Rare - 10%
- Matcha Cat - Legendary - 2.5%
The rarity makes a big difference. Cattuccino is by far the easiest of the three to get, while Matcha Cat has the lowest chance.
If you are mainly trying to get Matcha Cat, do not expect to get it from your first biscuit. The 2.5% chance means it can take several attempts.
How the Kitty Biscuit works
The Kitty Biscuit is the main thing you need if your goal is one of the Cat Cafe pets.
After getting one, head to the Cat Cafe and use it to attract the cats. The game then gives you a chance to get one of the available pets.
This is different from simply buying a pet directly. You are using the item and relying on the listed chances.
Because Matcha Cat is Legendary, players who want to collect all three should be prepared to use more than one Kitty Biscuit.

Pain au Chat is another new pet
The Cat Cafe is not the only new pet content in this update.
One little cat apparently took a wrong turn and ended up at the Releaser Stand.
This gives players another new pet to collect:
Pain au Chat - Ultra Rare
Pain au Chat can be hatched from the Basic Egg and Crystal Egg by spending Tickets at the Releaser Stand.
That means you do not need a Kitty Biscuit to get this pet.
If you already have Tickets saved up, this is worth checking before spending Robux on the Cat Cafe pets.
It also gives free-to-play players another way to participate in the update.
A Roblox anniversary surprise
There is also a special anniversary item connected to Roblox's 20th anniversary.
You can get a Throwback Egg from Eggburt for 400 Bucks.
The egg can hatch into either a Blue Cat or a Pink Dog.
So, while the Cat Cafe is the main feature of this week's update, there is another reason to spend some time around Adoption Island if you are collecting pets.
The Throwback Egg also gives players something to work toward without needing to buy Kitty Biscuits.
Which new pet is hardest to get?
Looking only at the listed Cat Cafe chances, Matcha Cat is the hardest of the three new Cat Cafe pets.

Matcha Cat has a much lower chance than Catte and Cattuccino, so players should not be surprised if they get several Cattuccinos before seeing a Matcha Cat.
Pain au Chat is separate from this table because it comes from the Releaser Stand rather than the Kitty Biscuit.
What should you do first?
If you just joined the update, start by visiting the Cat Cafe and checking the new content.
If you want the three Cat Cafe pets, Kitty Biscuits are the item you need.
If you do not want to spend Robux, check the Releaser Stand for Pain au Chat and work on the other available rewards instead.
You can also keep your Bucks ready for the 400-Buck Throwback Egg.
The update is fairly simple, but the low chance for Matcha Cat gives collectors a reason to keep coming back.
