A new update has arrived in Steal An Egg, and this one gives players a completely new area to explore.
The Angels vs Demons update went live on September 12, 2026. It adds a new biome that can change between an Angel version and a Demon version, along with new Eggs, Pets, and a hidden area for players who want to explore beyond the normal biome.
Here is what you need to know before heading into the new content.
A New Angels and Demons Biome
The biggest addition in the update is the new Angels and Demons Biome.
Unlike a normal biome that stays the same, this one can change its appearance and available content. Each night, the biome can transform into either the Angels variant or the Demons variant.
There is also a rare third possibility: a merged Angel and Demon version that combines both sides. This secret version can give players extra luck while it is active, making it a particularly good time to try stealing Eggs.
There is one important requirement, though.
You Need 20 Billion Speed
The new biome is not designed for brand-new players.
Both the Angel and Demon versions require 20 billion Speed to enter. The same requirement applies to the rare merged version.
So if you cannot enter the area yet, there is no trick that will bypass the requirement. You will need to work on your Speed first.
New Angel Pets
The Angel side of the biome comes with eight new Pets.
The current list includes:
- Light Dove - Legendary
- Winged Lamb - Mythic
- Sacred Moth - Cosmic
- Holy Peacock - Cosmic
- Pure Jellyfish - Secret
- Centaur - Secret
- Pegasus - Eternal
- ArchAngel - Divine
These Pets are tied to the Angel side of the new biome, so you will want to keep an eye on which variant is active before spending time farming Eggs.
The higher-rarity Pets are naturally the ones many players will be hunting for, especially the Eternal and Divine options.
What About Demon Pets?
The Demon side has its own set of exclusive Pets, giving players a reason to visit both versions of the biome rather than simply waiting for one side.
This is an important change from the usual Steal An Egg routine. You are not just looking for the best Egg in a fixed location. You also need to pay attention to the current biome state.
If the game switches to the side you want, that is the time to focus your farming there.
Look for the Secret Fusion Shrine
The new biome also hides something more interesting than the normal Eggs.
Look for a waterfall inside the Angels and Demons area.
Behind it is a portal leading to the Secret Fusion Shrine.
The shrine has two pedestals, one for Light and one for Dark.
This is where the update gets more interesting.
To use the shrine, you need an Eternal or Divine Light/Dark Pet. The Pet also has to match the Light or Dark requirement of the shrine. Other Eternal or Divine Pets cannot simply be placed into the fusion.
Once the required Pets are placed, the fusion process begins and produces a Fusion Egg.
You can then put that Egg in your pen and wait for it to hatch.
So if you find a valuable Light or Dark Pet, do not immediately trade it away without checking what the new shrine can do.
The Merged Biome Is Worth Watching
The rare merged version of the biome may be the most interesting part of this update.
Instead of choosing between Angels and Demons, the merged biome combines the two.
More importantly, it provides an extra luck advantage while active. That makes the appearance of the merged biome a good opportunity to focus on Egg stealing and hunting for better Pets.
If you see the two sides appear together, it is probably worth spending more of your time farming rather than leaving the server immediately.
What Should You Do After the Update?
If you already have enough Speed to enter the new biome, there are a few things worth doing.
First, check which version is active. If you are looking for Angel Pets, wait for the Angel version. If you want Demon Pets, the Demon version is the one you need.
Second, look around the biome rather than only focusing on the visible Eggs. The waterfall and Secret Fusion Shrine are easy to miss if you simply follow the normal farming route.
Finally, keep your best Light and Dark Pets. The new fusion system gives some high-rarity Pets another use besides trading or keeping them in your collection.
Is the Angel vs Demon Update Worth Playing?
Yes, especially if you already have the 20 billion Speed needed to access the biome.
The update adds more than a new visual theme. There are 16 new Pets across the Angel and Demon sides, a changing biome system, a rare merged version, and the Secret Fusion Shrine.
For newer players, the 20B Speed requirement means this update is something to work toward rather than immediate content.
For endgame players, however, there is plenty of new farming to do.
The biggest tip is simple: do not treat the Angels and Demons biome like a normal permanent area. Check which version is active, look for the merged biome, and explore behind the waterfall for the Secret Fusion Shrine.
That is where some of the most interesting new content in the update is hidden.
